Bryn has been handling and training animals for the last 10 years. Her experience in high volume kennels has solidified her expertise in dog behavior and confidence when it comes to handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
Personalized Programs
Our low volume allows for custom care and training plans for your pet! During a board and train stay with Better Bond, your dog will be living and training in a real home environment. Bryn focuses on relationship building and creating clear, fair, consistent expectations in her house while building their confidence and finding positive outlets for each individuals drives. There will also be a focus on teaching your dog how to think, learn, settle on their own and plenty of opportunities for socialization in the world + with other balanced dogs if that is one of your goals.

There are a million different ways to train a dog. Here at Better Bond, we ascribe to the balanced training approach with a big lean towards the positive! Corrections have their place, respect from your dog is important, but suppression and compulsion usually do not - we want your dog to learn how to think things through and make the right choices for themselves, not force them into compliance. This starts with, you guessed it, building up that bond! Dogs learn so much faster and retain much more when expectations are fair and they are truly motivated to work for you.

Hey guys, welcome to Better Bond! My heart has been with animals as long as I can remember but my journey in the pet industry began in 2018 at a commercial doggy daycare + boarding kennel. In 2021 I found my way to a board and train facility where I was able to get my foundation as a dog trainer. The past six years in high volume kennels gave me exactly what I had been looking for, experience handling hundreds of dogs and time spent with other talented trainers - all of whom I learned from every day. I also left with a very clear vision of the things that I wanted to do better.
With the dog training industry being what it is, unregulated and rampant with out of date philosophies, many desperate pet parents are subject to being taken advantage of. My first priority is you and your success, it always will be. While my training style falls under the balanced training umbrella, my focus is relationship building through play and positive experiences shared with your dog.
Choosing Better Bond means choosing a program that is custom tailored to suit each individual families needs and prioritizes a stress free learning environment where we progress at your dogs pace. Whether your dog is coming to stay with us for one of our board and train programs or we are meeting you at home to tackle issues there, our low volume means that you and your dog will get plenty of one on one time and support.
